Job Description Insight Global is seeking a DevOps Lead to join our consulting team in Montreal and play a pivotal role in bridging technical expertise between engineering teams and high-profile clients in industries like major insurance and financial services. This role is ideal for someone who excels at building connections, translating technical complexities into actionable strategies, and delivering impactful client-facing presentations. As a DevOps Lead, you will not only drive DevOps strategies and solutions but also act as a key point of contact for clients, offering insights and showcasing recommendations tailored to their needs. Youll ensure seamless communication between technical stakeholders, providing clarity and guidance while representing our team with professionalism and expertise. - Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and clients, ensuring alignment on project goals and technical solutions. - Present strategies, recommendations, and technical insights to clients in a clear and compelling manner. - Lead and mentor engineering teams, providing architectural and strategic guidance while empowering them to execute hands-on tasks. - Oversee and review code when required, ensuring adherence to best practices without direct coding responsibilities. - Drive containerization efforts using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions for enterprise environments. - Design and implement optimized cloud-based solutions leveraging Azure, catering to the needs of Microsoft-heavy clients. - Work collaboratively with client technical teams, making arguments, facilitating discussions, and helping to align on implementation plans and outcomes. Skills and Requirements - 7+ years of experience - Proven experience as a DevOps Lead, with demonstrated ability to manage client-facing roles and technical presentations. - Experience working with enterprise-level organizations, preferably in industries such as insurance or financial services. - Strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure technologies. - A strategic mindset, with the ability to think like an architect and design forward-thinking, sustainable solutions. - Excellent written and conversational French skills (bilingual proficiency required). - Ability to lead technical teams, bridge gaps between technical and business stakeholders, and influence decisions effectively. - Comfortable attending 1 day per week onsite in Montreal. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
