DevOps QA Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
You will need to work as DevOps QA Specialist for lab and production deployment, and need to have good technical skill set along with prompt responses for lab operations, QA and ongoing production operation during each task cycle.
• Design, implement, enhance, maintain, review the solutions of automation/optimization for service deployment and quality assurance.
• Implement, deploy, maintain, test and monitor service instances on cloud platform
• Identify, document, track, review and analyze the services and internal processes for improvement and optimization.
• Analyze service data and provide feedback to other engineers and infrastructure teams for improvements
• Automate test cases and system monitoring with scripts or programs.

Job Skills Required:
• Strong background and experience in production platform operations 
• Expertise in OpenStack administration, as well as server virtualization (KVM, ESXi, Hyper-V etc)
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching and general network administration
• Proficiency in scripting language ( Bash, Python / RUST)
• Knowledge of general QA procedures and methodologies , as well as software development fundamentals
• Experience configuring, installing, and troubleshooting PC/server software and hardware in a Windows and Linux environment
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate well with other departments
• Ability to work on assigned tasks under tight time constraints
• Ability to write clear problem reports, test results and analysis reports.
• Bonus: certificate in CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/RHCE/OpenStack

Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent experience.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $81,000 - $110,000 annually.  Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.  Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
