Your ImpactAs a DevOps Software Engineer with messaging domain experience, your job responsibilities will include:
Experience designing, developing scalable, resilient and fault tolerant transactional and distributed systems in enterprise production environments
Leverage Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker for efficient infrastructure management and deployment
Skilled in Java, C, or other programming languages, with a strong understanding of modern object-oriented programming techniques and design patterns
Experience using telemetry and metrics to drive operational excellence.
Ability to learn quickly and deliver high quality code in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
A meticulous and detailed oriented engineer, responsible for writing one’s own functional and unit tests and help review and test teammates' code
Familiar with Agile development methodology and committed to continual improvement of team performance
Effective communication, strong leadership skills, team player who is capable of mentoring and being mentored by others
Proficiency with distributed version control and CI/CD pipelines, e.g., Git, Jenkins, Spinnaker
Experience with container and orchestration services, e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
Required Skills -
Subject matter expert in the messaging domain, specifically with experience in SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, and SMPP.
5+ years of industry experience
Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and other scripting languages: Java, Python, Scala C#, Go, Node.JS and C++.
Leverage Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps practices to enhance software development and operational efficiency
Experience with developing SAAS products over public cloud infrastructure - AWS/Azure/GCP.
A deeper understanding of software development best practices and demonstrate leadership skills.
Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
