DevOps Specialist
Internal Job Title: DevOps Specialist Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Job Location: Remote – Canada (except BC) Work Model: Remote Position Summary As a DevOps Specialist in our BUMP (digital raffles) business unit , you will play a crucial role in the design, implement ation and maint enance of the systems and infrastructure that underpin our cloud and on-premises Electronic Raffle System solutions. Responsibilities + Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment of software + Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure + Implement infrastructure as code ( IaC ) for orchestration and configuration management + Collaborate with development team to improve code quality and deployment processes + Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis + Implement and maintain security measures through risk assessment and vulnerability management + Develop and maintain documentation for processes, tools, systems , and security compliance + Various other duties and responsibilities Qualifications Knowledge and Experience + Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer science or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience + AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is an asset + Knowledge of the following: + DevOps and CI/CD practices + Cloud computing + Containerization and orchestration + Infrastructure as code ( IaC ) + Security c ompliance certifications ( ISO 27001 , PCI DSS ) + SCRUM & a gile + 3+ years of Software Development or related experience + 3+ years of Linux Systems Administration or related experience + 5 + years of DevOps or related experience Technologies + Clouds: AWS, Azure, Digital Ocean + Languages: Python, Bash , NodeJS , PHP + Load Test ing: k6 + Infrastructure as Code: Terraform + Containerization: Docker , AWS ECS + CI/CD Tools : Git, Azure DevOps , Rundeck + Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana , Loki, AWS CloudWatch Soft Skills and Abilities + Critical thinking skills + Analytical skills, problem-solving skills + Interpersonal skills + Communication, teamwork and collaboration + Attention to detail + Self-directed Mandatory Requirements + Fluency in English + Ability to travel domestically/internationally approx. 1-2 weeks/year About BUMP At BUMP we are dedicated to empowering charities and non-profits with innovative, technology-driven fundraising solutions.
