Job Description & Summary

PwC Poland’s Digital& - Application Development team comprises 130 people. We are responsible for IT projects for Polish and international clients. The number of tasks we undertake is extensive: from design, building and implementation, through preparation of functional specifications and analysis of data in source systems, to the definition of business requirements, support in testing and development of mobile applications. The department provides IT consulting services, mainly to financial institutions from Poland and abroad.

We are looking for:

DevOps Tech Leader

Your future role:

Leading architectural decision-making for cloud-native solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability

Collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices into software delivery

Leading and mentoring the DevOps team, fostering skill development and promoting a collaborative culture

Designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced tools and infrastructure supporting CI/CD processes

Automating and optimizing software development and deployment workflows, with a focus on modern DevOps and GitOps practices

Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions based on project requirements using tools like Terraform

Providing expert-level Kubernetes-based solutions, including architecture, deployment, and management of clusters

Ensuring systems security by implementing and monitoring robust cybersecurity measures

Identifying technical issues and delivering timely software updates and fixes

Apply if you have:

Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, including advanced cluster management and optimization

Proven ability to lead teams and make strategic architectural decisions

Expertise in cloud architecture design and management, with a strong preference for Azure, but experience with AWS or GCP is a significant plus

Proficiency in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and automation

Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform

Strong understanding of networking components, protocols, and security (e.g., Firewalls, Routing, DNS, HTTP, TLS/SSL)

Comprehensive knowledge of patch and vulnerability management, including automation of these processes

Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools like Veracode, BlackDuck, Gradar, or Qualys

Familiarity with AI-related projects is a strong plus

Proficiency in scripting for automation tasks

At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, including 2 years in leadership roles

Nice to have:

One of top cloud providers (AWS / Azure / GCP) certifications

Azure solution architect expert (AZ-305) certificate
