We are looking to hire several DevSecOps for a big project within the DOD space. These roles are hybrid.

Security Clearance is not required but is a plus! You must be able to obtain a security clearance and according to ITAR requirements in order to obtain one you must be a citizen.

Description

This program has evolved to incorporate virtual machine software solutions, enhancing its resilience and cost-effectiveness. This evolution supports the U.S. Air Force's Space Enterprise Vision (SEV) and the Enterprise Ground Services (EGS) initiatives.

The program is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to perform the following tasks:

· Pipeline creation, design and tying both the applications developed and/or the pipelines into tools within factory infrastructure (Jenkins)

· Assessing problems having to do with CM (configuration management) and writing code to build small applications to solve those problems

· Creating tools/automation

· Assisting with additional development tasks and challenges

Additional Skills & Qualifications

· CI/CD and Jenkins pipeline experience including ability to actually build them from Groovy or the Jenkins file up

· Experience and understanding of the various stages involved in said pipelines, their categorization/organization/order, the benefits they provide, interfaces with other tools like SonarQube, GitLab, Artifactory or Vault

· Experience with an automated configuration state tool like Puppet, Chef, or preferably Ansible and tying these playbooks into the above pipelines to perform actions and report back to Jenkins on success or failure of tasks performed

· Some experience with quality gates and maturity models in build and promotion processes (preferred)

· Experience with automated document creation leveraging the data contained in other tools utilized in the build and promotion process which may require pulling together metadata from various tools, storing them in a custom database, templatizing various contractual documents, reading and transforming the warehoused data to generate the Program document as required. (highly preferred)

· Java development experience writing custom applications (Spring highly preferred)

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $90.00
