Bravo Communications Services LLC is leading the Identity Credential Access Management Next Gen Single Sign On (ICAM NG SSO) program for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This program aims to modernize the VA's Single Sign-On (SSO) technology to enhance security, user experience, and operational efficiency.

Position Overview

The DevSecOps Engineer will integrate security practices into the DevOps processes for the ICAM NG SSO program. This role involves automating security measures, ensuring compliance with security standards, and collaborating with development and operations teams.

Responsibilities Integrate security practices into DevOps processes.Automate security measures and processes.Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.Collaborate with development and operations teams.Monitor and respond to security incidents.Develop and maintain security documentation.Implement and manage security tools and technologies.Provide security training and awareness programs.Conduct security audits and assessments.Develop and implement incident response plans. Required Experience/Qualifications Proven experience in DevSecOps.Strong understanding of SSO technologies and security practices.Excellent coding and automation skills.Experience with DevOps tools and processes.Knowledge of security standards and regulations.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience in incident response and management.Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of software development methodologies. Preferred Experience/Qualifications Experience working with federal agencies.Certification in DevSecOps or related fields.Knowledge of VA systems and processes.Experience in managing security for large-scale systems.Familiarity with federal procurement processes.Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.Experience in security architecture and design.Strong project management skills.Understanding of network and infrastructure security.Experience in security compliance and auditing.
