DevSecOps Engineer
DevSecOps Engineer   Job Description Summary: + D&G Solutions is seeking an exceptional DevSecOps Engineer to support the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Data Environment & Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC) Program. The IGC Program offers a unified platform for accessing critical data, business services, and information related to material asset visibility. It enables seamless integration and management of logistics, supply, and distribution across combatant commands, military services, and federal agencies. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a dynamic team, driving the development of cutting-edge logistics solutions that enhance warfighter readiness and mission effectiveness. Roles & Responsibilities:   + Leads DevSecOps functions, to include project management and reporting, business requirements analysis and specification development, design analysis, web service development, software integration, data conversion, testing, release management, technical support, and documentation to support program processes and requirements. + Adopt operating procedures and DevSecOps tool chain to sustain, support and operate IGC in a cloud environment. + Implement DoD Enterprise DevSecOps design when developing in client hosted development environments. + Integrate frameworks (e.g., Istio, EKS), tools (e.g., IBM ClearCase, Gitlab CI/CD, SonarQube), and best practices like Shift Left Security, Automated Security Scanning, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Microservice Architecture into development operations. + Utilize CI/CD pipelines and incorporate automated security tools such as Fortify and SonarQube to enhance security throughout the development lifecycle by automating security checks and enabling continuous monitoring to proactively address vulnerabilities. + Providing training and awareness to development and operations teams on secure coding practices and threat mitigation. + Stay aligned with evolving DoD and USTRANSCOM guidelines through continuous feedback and periodic reviews. + Document all compliance efforts, deviations, and incident responses in detail. + Assists in other functions as directed by Program Manager. Requirements:   + Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution OR + Bachelor’s degree (any field) + One of the certifications: Security+, GSEC, CASP+, CND, CySA+, CCNA, CISM, CISSP, CISA, CCISO, CCNP Security, GLSC + 10 years of experience in DevSecOps + 7-10 years of experience with AWS; Administering Windows, RHEL, Unix; Gitlab, Artifactory, Python Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes; SQL Server, RDS, DynamoDB; Integration of COTS software; Scripting; Computer Aided Software Engineering tools. +  Eligibility Requirements:   + DoD Secret Clearance + This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) (ie., U.S. citizens, permanent residents and other protected individuals under the immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))   Desired Skills:   + USTRANSCOM/DOD IT system knowledge + AWS Certified DevOps Engineer + Associate or certified Kubernetes Administrator  Location:    + Remote, with occasional travel to Scott AFB Who We Are:   At D&G Solutions, we are a distinguished prime contractor that has supported Scott AFB, committed to delivering the highest-quality support to USTRANSCOM across various critical programs, including IGC.
