DevSecOps Engineer Work Location: Washington DC, metro area Required: US Citizen Mandatory Skills: + 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps or related roles with a strong focus on cloud security. + Proficiency in AWS with experience in designing and managing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. + Strong understanding of IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for developing and managing cloud resources. + Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, including integrating security checks into pipelines. + In-depth knowledge of security best practices and frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO/IEC 27001). + Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating security tasks. + Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. + Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Requirements Nice-to-Have Skills: + Experience with GCP and Azure cloud platforms. + Knowledge of security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP. + Experience in implementing and managing Zero Trust architectures. + Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
