DevSecOps Engineering Lead, NA Technology

We are searching for a seasoned DevSecOps Engineering Lead to champion the maturity and adoption of automation and security in the software development lifecycle (SDLC). You will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of DevSecOps practices across our organization, fostering a culture of collaboration between development, security, and operations teams.

In this role you will:

Champion the adoption of DevSecOps principles and best practices across the organization. Contribute towards DevSecOps policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices. Collaborate with application developers and leadership to integrate security considerations throughout the SDLC. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of DevSecOps initiatives. Identify and prioritize security vulnerabilities within the application codebase. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the DevSecOps space.


 

 

Qualifications:

15+ years of experience in engineering roles, with a minimum of 5 years focused on DevSecOps.Proven track record of leading DevSecOps adoption in a large enterprise environment.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, and security scanning tools.Experience working with and influencing application developers and leadership.Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.Ability to translate technical concepts into clear and concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.Data-driven approach to problem solving, with a focus on measuring and demonstrating the value of DevSecOps initiatives.Experience working with Agile methodologies.

Bonus Points:

Experience in a cloud-native environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

The pay range for the role is $128,500 to $215,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.  Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
