DFC Business Analyst I

The DFC Business Analyst I will support our reporting and analytics platforms while also assisting in our shift to next generation business software solutions.  Working as part of a cross-functional development team, Business Analysts have a ground-up impact on our systems, our business, and most importantly, our customers.

The DFC Business Analyst I reports to the DFC Business Systems Supervisor.

Location: Medford, OR (Hybrid), Tigard, OR (Hybrid) or Remote, USA

Compensation Range: $59, 904 - $72,000 annually

Responsibilities

Apply data analysis and research skills to identify key indicators, test hypotheses and guide actions with respect to the loan transaction life cycleEngage with business leaders to understand objectives and continually align work with those objectives to meet the needs of the businessAnalyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of both structured and unstructured data to help automate and optimize key processes and solve problems at their root causeDefine the business problem and solution approach autonomously with limited guidanceGenerate actionable insights through the development of metrics, dashboards, and deep dive analysesAnalyze and validate data to ensure high data quality and reliable insightsPartner with data development teams to improve data assets, quality, metrics, and insightsProvide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staffAllocate resources and maintain cost efficienciesOther duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent professional experience with a heavy emphasis on data and analyticsExcellent knowledge of relevant technologies, reporting systems and data analytics.Strong attention to detailSense of urgencyExcellent communication
