DFT Engineer

We’re looking for a DFT Engineer to join the Snap Lab Team at Snap Inc!

What you’ll do:

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team designing display Integrated Circuits for AR

Own the architecture, implementation and automation of Design-for-Test for our ICs, including such functions as full scan, boundary scan, memory BIST and IP testing

Work closely with digital and analog logic, circuit and layout engineers and test engineers

Work closely with digital design and verification teams to ensure testability and first-time correctness

Create test vectors and interface with IC test engineers to bring up high-coverage production tests

Perform additional digital design and verification tasks as needed

Participate in silicon validation and qualification

Support yield enhancement during the ramp-up of the product

Specify and configure tools and create automation

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong knowledge of Design-for-Test methodology, and test insertion tools such as Tessent, including full scan, boundary scan, memory BIST and IP testing

Strong knowledge of digital functional simulation, and tools such as Siemens Questa

Strong knowledge of Verilog and good RTL coding practices

Scripting and automation, such as TCL, SKILL, Perl, Python and Shell scripts

Excellent written and verbal English communication
 

Minimum Qualifications: 

BSEE or MSEE or relevant years of experience 

3​​+ years of experience in Design for test implementation

Preferred Qualifications:

Design for test in the broadest sense

Knowledge of ASIC production flow

Experience of at least one product managed successfully through production in volume 

Experience with testing high speed interfaces such as MIPI

Ideal candidate is a self-starter, can organize complex issues and drive them to closure

Able to multitask and prioritize

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $152,000-$228,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $144,000-$217,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $129,000-$194,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
