DG BOSS: Wait Staff (FN)
+ Prepares dining room for service (napkins, condiments, etc)
+ Prepares back-up items such as butter, ice, coffee, fruits and juices
+ Perform side work as assigned to include cleaning and restocking supplies
+ Must become familiar with the menu, be able to offer suggestions and selections from guests and turn in order to the kitchen for preparation
+ Supports a variety of special functions which
+ May be required to move tables and chairs
+ May be assigned occasional cashier/checker duties
+ Must possess ability to greet the public and be skilled in proper food
+ May be required to work split or rotate shifts, and/or uncommon hours duty hours to include holidays and weekends and excess hours
+ Employees must wear appropriate uniforms, and safety/sanitation equipment.
+ Keeps uniforms, and work area clean and neat at all times.
+ Maintains highest standards of sanitation at all times and in all locations
+ Ensure labeling and dating of all consumable items in front of the line
+ Strictly adheres to FIFO method when using stock
+ Must be familiar and proficient in working all MWR dining outlets
Basic Qualifications:
+ Must speak, read, and understand English language at a high level of comprehension.
+ Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING:
+ Food Handler Certificate
+ ServSafe Food Handler Certificate
+ ServSafe Alcohol Permit
+ Adult First Aid, CPR and AED Training Certificate
+ Star Service Training Certificate
+ Cash handling Training
EDUCATION:
+ High school graduate or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
+ Knowledge of and maintain high standards of sanitation, courtesy and expeditious service.
