Job Title: Data Governance Lead

Job Description: We are looking for a seasoned Data Governance Consultant to lead our data governance initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will drive the development and implementation of robust data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and compliance across client organizations. You will work closely with stakeholders, guiding them through the operationalization of data governance practices and the deployment of industry-leading tools. Priority will be given to immediate joiners.

Responsibilities:

Define and implement data governance strategies, focusing on operationalization, data quality management, and master data management. Lead the deployment and integration of data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Purview, Big ID), ensuring seamless data processing, management, and reporting. Secure and manage data assets, including designing and executing policies for data access management, PII classification, and data security. Facilitate client workshops and drive Data Literacy and Change Management initiatives to align governance practices with business objectives. Develop and refine functional and technical specifications, identifying opportunities for process improvements to support data governance goals. Communicate complex data governance concepts to non-technical stakeholders, providing industry-specific insights and tailored solutions.

Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in data governance strategy, operationalization, or implementation, with expertise in tools like Collibra, Alation, Purview, Big ID, Reltio, etc. Strong proficiency in data quality management, data catalog implementation, master data management, and data access management. Familiarity with data engineering concepts, enabling effective integration of governance practices with data pipelines and architecture. Proven track record of managing stakeholders and driving data governance programs from strategy to execution. Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
