In this role, the Data Scientist would be responsible for the creation of new Data Science capabilities for the business by envisioning and executing strategies that will influence improvement of the business performance by enabling informed decision making of our clients.
Responsibilities
• Hands-on work and delivery of Advanced analytics/ML/AI projects
• Interpret and analyze data problems. To deal with huge data, have good understanding on data science and have worked on relational databases.
• Write computer programs and analyze large datasets to uncover answers to complex problems. Need to be comfortable writing code working in a variety of languages such as Python, R, Tableau/Power BI SQL
• Ensure data quality and integrity through best practices and compliance to framework, architecture and coding standards.
• Responsible for data extraction, data analysis, data preparation, data modeling and data evaluation
• Generate Statistical Forecast for defined datasets
• Demonstrate good analytical and logical skills in analyzing complex data
• Articulate and present analysis/ideas to senior leadership
• Imbibe and improve on coding and debugging skills.
• Responsible to showcase strong work ethic, with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger collaborative environment.
• Managing timelines and quality of deliverables
• Decision making and problem solving associated with the projects
• Actively communicating with project managers and other stakeholders

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
• Graduate / Postgraduate preferably in in Statistics, applied mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Project management experience
• Strong Knowledge on SQL/PLSQL and should have extensive working knowledge on handling large data sets.
• Strong Analytical, Problem solving critical thinking skills
• Excellent knowledge in statistical techniques such and advanced machine learning algorithms such as Regression, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Clustering, Time Series, Ensemble Learning
• Good understanding of machine learning tools or Frameworks
• Good understanding in Large scale distributed systems, cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Understanding of architecture and design
• Strong project management skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong quantitative abilities

• Excellent communication and executive presence to connect at CXO level
• Ability to assimilate learning from different external and internal interactions to then drive to action
• Strategic Thinker- Ability to create and defend point of view / frameworks
