The Team Lead for Travel and Bankcard Program Management & Conference Management Support will oversee the implementation and management of travel processes, the GSA SmartPay Card Program, and conference management services for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This role involves leading a team responsible for ensuring compliance with federal travel regulations, managing the bankcard program effectively, and optimizing conference planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:· Lead the development and management of travel processes, ensuring compliance with Federal Travel Regulations, policies, and DHS procedures.· Oversee travel management systems like Concur Gov, ensuring functionality, change management, and end-user support through configuration and testing.· Administer the GSA SmartPay Card Program, ensuring compliance with regulations and conducting reviews for fleet, travel, and purchase lines.· Mentor and manage a team, guiding their work in travel, bankcard, and conference management to meet DHS standards and objectives.· Collaborate with stakeholders, providing updates on travel, bankcard, and conference activities, and presenting reports for program improvement.Requirements Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in travel management, bankcard program management, and/or conference planning, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.Strong knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations (FTR), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and the GSA SmartPay Card Program.Experience with travel management systems, such as Concur Gov, and automated bankcard management tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to analyze and improve processes related to travel, bankcard program, and conference management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and financial management systems.Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS fitness vetting and security clearance as required.Availability:
The Team Lead must be available to support team operations during standard business hours and be able to address urgent matters promptly.
