The Opportunity
As a Claim Examiner, you will collaborate with subject matter experts, proactively identify, solicit, and analyze information essential to the claim evaluation process, including but not limited to medical records, financial documentation, and occupational information. You will develop and implement investigative action plans and make or recommend liability determinations in adherence with policy provisions.

Adjudicate disability income and life waiver of premium claims of low to moderate complexity in adherence with policy provisionsDemonstrate critical thinking and proactively address outstanding claim requirementsRecommend initial and ongoing liability determinations, authorize and issue benefit payments as appropriateDemonstrate exceptional customer service skills, both oral and writtenRespond proactively and timely with claimants and other stakeholdersDemonstrate the ability and desire to handle issues independently, seeking guidance in highly complex situationsThe Minimum Qualifications
Associates Degree or 2+ years of Individual Disability Income, Group Long Term Disability, or Long Term Care Claim Experience1+ years of customer service experienceIdeal Qualifications
