Diabetes Educator II – Part Time – Green

This is Part-Time (48 hours per pay period) position with a day shift schedule. This position helps cover inpatient on the campus of Scripps Green Hospital in Torrey Pines with potential for coverage at other hospital sites as needed.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

· A minimum of two years providing diabetes education as an RN or RD required.

Required Certification/Registration:

· Current BLS

· Certified Diabetes Educator certification required.

· Licensed to practice in the State of California as an RN or RD.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

For RNs, a bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
