Diagnoses and repairs multiple interconnected systems and components including mechanical, electronic, programmable logic controllers (PLC programming), electric motor inverter drives, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam and hot oil systems. Utilizes a variety of test equipment for troubleshooting of equipment and systems to the component level. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** + _Utilizes knowledge of PLCs, inverters, and pneumatic and steam systems, and how they are applied in laundry operations._ + _Utilizes all available resources to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment. Verifies completed tasks by testing complete functionality of equipment after repair is completed._ + _Inspects equipment for possible failure of parts and reports it immediately._ + _Follows all regulatory guidelines and safety procedures related to the tasks assigned._ + _Uses proper electrical installation and repair techniques in a workman like manner with panels, conduits, flex, cut in boxes, devices and components._ Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED** **:** + **4 years of experience working with electronic controls, PLC’s, inverters, pneumatic systems and hydraulic systems** **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED** **:** + **2 years’ experience as an Engineer in a high volume laundry** + **2 years’ experience on thermal oil operated ironers** This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
