UPMC Shadyside is hiring a motivated technologist to support daily Interventional Radiology (IR) needs in our Main OR — home to 23 state-of-the-art operating rooms where innovation and precision meet every day.

In this vital role, you’ll assist with intraoperative radiology and CT scans, operate C-arms, and ensure seamless imaging support for complex surgical procedures.

Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
Additional Coverage: Weekends and holidays as needed, off-shift call

What You’ll Do:

Perform and support intraoperative imaging procedures using advanced radiography, CT, and C-arm technology. Review patient history, assess orders, and apply protocols to ensure high-quality imaging results. Accurately document patient data and maintain records within the electronic system. Administer contrast per policy and ensure all exams are coded, archived, and billed correctly. Provide compassionate, professional care while collaborating seamlessly with surgeons and clinical staff.
