SUMMARY

As a Senior Dialysis Tech, team members look to you for leadership and guidance. Your attention to detail and kind, patient focused attitude while administering dialysis is vital to sustaining the lives of our patients. 

STATUS: Full-Time

SCHEDULE:

Day/Evening/Weekend Rotation (Straight days are not offered)Day Shift: 5:15AM – 1:45PMEvening Shift: 1:00PM – 1O:00PM10 Hour – straight evenings can be available – 11:30AM – 10:00PMEveryone is required to work a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month depending on location – needs weekend availabilityWe are closed the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s). We are open the Sunday preceding these holidays. Staff may be scheduled to work those 3 Sundays.

ATTRIBUTES

Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in patient care or as an EMTDemonstrated leadership abilityStrong customer service, computer and communication skills 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care. Set up and deliver dialysis treatment; cannulate fistula or graft; obtain blood samples and culture specimens; calculate fluid removal based on nursing assessment; respond to treatment complications under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN)Reporting. Monitor patient’s vital signs during treatment as well as record observations and interventions in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; report patient status changes to RN when appropriate; retrieve lab results when necessarySite Management. Inspect and evaluate dialysis access site and report conditions to the RN

EDUCATION:

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: 

DT - Dialysis Technician certification - Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing and Technology (BONENT)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
