Die Cast Set-up Technician
We have an outstanding career opportunity for aDie Cast Set-up Technicianto join a leading Company located in theHighpoint, NCsurrounding area. Join our team as a Die Cast Set-Up Technician, where you'll play a key role in ensuring efficient die changes, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement in production processes. If you're a hands-on problem solver with experience in die setting, robotics, and process optimization, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities : + Install and remove die cast and trim dies efficiently and safely. + Set up die cast dies according to process book instructions. + Troubleshoot and remove stuck parts from dies when needed. + Adjust spray setups, program robots, and prepare first pieces for production. + Complete and submit die set-up sheets accurately and on time. + Monitor equipment performance, diagnose and resolve tool or machine issues. + Operate and adjust Fanuc robots and trim presses as necessary. + Maintain accurate shift documentation, ensuring smooth communication between shifts. + Assist in material and product flow to support operators and maintain production efficiency. + Inspect parts to verify quality and troubleshoot defects. + Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to improve quality and efficiency. + Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and compliance regulations. + Lead by example, upholding company values and fostering a positive team environment. + Perform other related duties as assigned to meet production demands. Basic Hiring Criteria : + High school diploma or equivalent + Previous experience in die-cast setup and operation preferred. + Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. + Ability to read and follow process books, setup sheets, and work instructions. + Experience with Fanuc robots and trim press operations is a plus. + Attention to detail, especially when documenting setup and process adjustments. + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. + Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across shifts. + Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement. + Flexibility to work the required schedule based on business needs.
