Salaried and dedicated position and as an die casting Engineer is subject matter expert in manufacturing process such as injection to high pressure, molding, aluminum properties, heat treatment, etc, since the preliminary stations definition, during runoff validation and along the lifecycle of production.

Bachelor degreed:  Industrial/Mechanical Engineer/ Materials engineer with minimum experience of 3 years in automotive industry (expertise demonstrable), in Electric Vehicles desirable.

Responsible for die casting process, including layout of the cell, internal cooling system, part touching, establishing the development of process and parameters aligned to meet the engineering product specification. 

Define test methods for diecasting evaluation including vision system, cleanliness evaluation and test method (destructive and non destructive test) to meet the engineering specification and also improvements proposals. 

Define a develop troubleshooting for equipment issues and leads problem solving for process and product issues, making corrective actions leads also the quality assurance in the die casting process, downstream and with final customer, also responsible for error proofing methods, and quality documentation and leads the continues improvement. 

Contribute to reach and continuously improve the performance indicators of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, Maintenance (availability of the equipment) and Environmental.
