Die Cutting Operator

Primary Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:
•    Review job ticket and determine job requirements
•    Setting-up die, counter plates, stripping section and press •    Install all necessary tooling
•    Observes operation of the machine to detect malfunctions such as jamming, wrinkling or tearing of materials
•    Performs adjustments when needed
•    Pulling front trim as required
•    Clean counter plates and strip down dies that are locked up
•    Clean area around press
•    Deliver cut cartons to finishing department
•    Completes quality and production reports
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines safely and within quality specifications.

Ideally the individual that would be a strong fit for this position would have some of the following knowledge/skills and abilities;
•    At least 1-3 years related manufacturing experience and/or training
•    Operation of a Bobst Die Cutter •    Experience using a hand jack
