About the Role

 

We currently have vacancies for highly skilled and motivated Diesel Fitters to join our maintenance crews at Saraji Coal Mine in QLD.

You will be responsible for rebuilding, servicing and diagnosing heavy mobile equipment, predominately CAT machinery.

  

Your role will involve, but is not limited to:

Disassembling/Assembling Cat machinery such as Graders, Dozers, Medium Vehicles and Pumps Servicing and diagnosing Cat machinery such as Graders, Dozers, Medium Vehicles and Pumps Proven experience fault finding and maintaining Diesel & Hydraulic Systems Experience and product knowledge in Caterpillar heavy mobile mining equipment preferred Creating a safe learning environment and a commitment to safety training and technical growth

 

About you:

 

Relevant Diesel fitting trade qualification A proven commitment to safety The ability to foster a teamwork atmosphere within your work group Previous experience with CAT machinery and diagnostic systems desirable Proven ability to work well under pressure, demonstrating high levels of initiative Demonstrated prior experience working with heavy plant and equipment Forklift and dogging tickets preferred – but not essential
