We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with ASC609 Certification to join our team in Bessemer, AL!

Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including electrical and mechanical systems.Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, such as oil changes, lubrications, and inspections.Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex engine issues.Ensure compliance with ASC609 standards and regulations regarding refrigerant handling.Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.Uphold safety standards and protocols in all repair and maintenance tasks.Keep abreast of advancements in diesel engine technology and industry trends.

Requirements:

Valid Drivers License and clean driving record - CDL is a plus, but not required.Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with ASC609 Certification.Paccar experience preferredComputer based diagnostic skills with OEM interfacesMust have your own toolsKnowledge of diesel engine components, systems, and operations.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.Steel and Aluminum Welding experience is a plus.Reefer experience is a plusPrevious experience repairing/maintaining reefer trucks.
