**Job Title: Diesel Mechanic** **Job Description** This position will be for a diesel mechanic, working in the brand new garage, on Peterbilt trucks. The position will be doing engine repair and maintenance, including some electrical and electronic troubleshooting. Will also do brake repair, some hydraulic troubleshooting, and welding and fabrication. Will be using hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, pliers, and impact wrenches. **Hard Skills** + Diesel mechanic experience on trucks, specifically Peterbilt + Engine repair and maintenance + Electrical and electronic troubleshooting + Brake repair + Hydraulic troubleshooting + Welding and fabrication + Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, pliers, and impact wrenches **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Lexington, Kentucky. **Work Environment** Brand new garage with 5 bays **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
