**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking an experienced **Diesel Mechanic** to join our team immediately. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on **diesel engines** from top manufacturers, including **Volvo** -hire position with potential for long-term employment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Diesel Engine Repair & Maintenance** : Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on **Volvo** and other diesel engines.
+ **Pump Rebuilds** : Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild diesel fuel pumps and other related components.
+ **Hydraulic Troubleshooting & Repair** : Diagnose issues in hydraulic systems, test hydraulic components, and perform necessary repairs.
+ **Diagnostic Tool Usage** : Utilize diagnostic tools and software to assess engine performance and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
+ **Preventive Maintenance** : Conduct preventive maintenance services to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment.
+ **Documentation** : Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.
**Hard Skills & Qualifications:**
+ **Engine Maintenance and Repair** : Strong experience with **Volvo** diesel engines, or similar brands.
+ **Pump Rebuilds** : Hands-on experience with diesel pump rebuilds.
+ **Hydraulic Systems** : Expertise in **hydraulic troubleshooting, testing, and repairs** .
+ **Diagnostic Tools** : Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to assess engine health.
+ **Problem-Solving** : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve engine and hydraulic system issues quickly.
+ **Safety** : Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to work in compliance with safety guidelines.
**Job Requirements:**
+ Previous experience as a **Diesel Mechanic** or in a similar mechanical repair role.
+ Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and hydraulic components.
+ Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment for engine diagnostics and performance testing.
+ Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
