Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel vehicles and engines. You will be responsible for maintaining the operational readiness of our fleet by performing routine maintenance and addressing any mechanical issues that arise.

ResponsibilitiesInspect diesel vehicles and engines for faults and perform diagnostic tests to identify problems.Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.Run diagnostic tests on vehicles and analyze the results.Replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.Essential Skills3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic.Proficiency in diesel troubleshooting and repair.Experience with preventive maintenance.Ability to work outside and visit job sites.Clean driving record.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work will be conducted both in the shop and out on job sites routinely. The start time is at 6:30 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mc Comb, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00
