**Job Title: Diesel Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team specializing in the maintenance and repair of diesel trucks and heavy equipment. The company supports commercial truck trailers, including flatbeds and air brake systems. The ideal candidate will have their own tools, be mechanically inclined with experience working on semis and heavy equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all repairs meet safety standards. If you are passionate about mechanical work and have experience in the industry, we encourage you to apply. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose mechanical issues in diesel trucks and heavy equipment. + Perform repairs and maintenance on semis, heavy equipment, and commercial truck trailers. + Ensure all repairs meet safety standards. + Work on flatbeds, air brake systems, radiators, turbos, DPF systems, and particulate filters. + Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems. + Perform installations, wiring, and welding as needed. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. **Essential Skills** + Experience as a Diesel Mechanic. + Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues. + Knowledge of radiators, turbos, DPF systems, and particulate filters. + Experience with flatbed trailers and commercial vehicles. + Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to perform installations, wiring, and welding. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferably 2+ years of hands-on experience with semis and heavy equipment repair and diagnostics. + Experience with flat trailers, flatbeds, fuel trailers, and air brakes. + Mechanically inclined with own tools. **Why Work Here?** Work for a company that offers flexibility with a Monday - Friday daytime schedule.
