**Diesel Mechanic** **Job Description** We're looking for an experienced 2nd shift diesel mechanic to join our team long-term. This individual will need to repair and fix large and heavy-duty diesel trucks, so the more experience the better. Because this is an independent/retail shop, mechanics will have an opportunity to learn a variety of skills on diesel trucks. **Responsibilities** + Repair and fix large and heavy-duty diesel trucks. + Perform regular maintenance and inspections on diesel trucks. + Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the best repair solutions. + Utilize hand and air tools to perform repairs. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. + Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work. **Why Work Here?** Located in Minneapolis, MN, our company has been serving the twin cities trucking industry for 40 years. We are also the only dealer in Minnesota for Crane Carrier Trucks and Landoll Trailers, two of the premier brands in the truck and trailer industry. **Work Environment** + Our shop is a small semi-truck diesel repair facility that has been serving the twin cities trucking industry for 40 years. + Family-owned and operated, our team of mechanics has over 150 years of combined diesel experience. + We currently have 10-12 mechanics, many of whom are strong in engine work, which allows us to bring in mechanics with a minimum of 2+ years of experience. + As a retail shop, we fix a wide variety of issues, providing an opportunity to learn and grow your skillset. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
