Job DescriptionPerform preventive maintenance, general maintenance, and periodic maintenance on vehicles.Diagnose reported anomalies and determine their causes.Carry out minor and major vehicle repairs, including:EnginesHydraulic systemsPneumatic systemsBraking and steering systemsElectrical and electronic circuits and networks, as well as transmission componentsComplete work orders and inspection sheets by recording completed tasks.Ensure proper use and functionality of company equipment.Inform the immediate supervisor of any unplanned required actions, detected issues, or time overruns.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Work safely and comply with company health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.Perform any other related tasks.

QualificationsSolid experience in maintenance, repair, and adjustment of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, grinders, shredders, vibrating tables, hydraulic systems, and presses.Ability to diagnose mechanical anomalies, breakdowns, and failures, as well as repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.Proficiency in testing equipment to ensure performance meets standards after repairs or replacements.Ability to collaborate on problem-solving to improve equipment efficiency and functionality.Knowledge of safety protocols, including workplace cleanliness, compliance with health and safety (OHS) regulations, and performing tasks safely.
