The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems in a variety of vehicles and equipment. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Diagnostic Testing:** Perform diagnostic tests on diesel engines and related systems to identify issues and determine appropriate repairs. + **Repairs and Maintenance:** Execute repairs and routine maintenance on diesel engines, including replacing parts, adjusting systems, and ensuring optimal performance. + **Troubleshooting:** Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems with diesel engines and equipment. + **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used. Ensure all work complies with company and industry standards. + **Safety Compliance:** Follow safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure all equipment and tools are used properly and maintained in good condition. + **Customer Service:** Communicate with customers regarding the status of repairs, provide recommendations, and explain technical information in a clear manner. **Qualifications:** + **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification in diesel mechanics or related field preferred. + **Skills:** Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
