The Diet Clerk is responsible for operating the room service call center, answering the phone when patient calls for their meal order, and entering meal orders into the CBORD system for transmission to the room service line. This position needs to be familiar with all menu offerings, diet variations, and specifics of what may be ordered by patients based on their physician prescribed diet.What you will need:
Certification: State of Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) required within 30 days of start Preferred: High School Diploma or GED and minimum of one year of food service experience in a healthcare settingBenefits (For full time or part time positions):
