Job Title: Diet Office Coordinator / Diet Clerk
Key Responsibilities:
Organizing the Diet Office: Managing the office’s operations to ensure smooth functioning, including overseeing meal orders and ensuring that dietary needs are met for all patients.Diet Order Communications: Responsible for communicating diet orders to the kitchen and ensuring that dietary specifications are properly understood and followed.Menu Planning: Creating and updating menus for patients, ensuring that each patient receives the correct meal based on their specific dietary requirements.Dietary Clerical Work: Handling administrative tasks related to patient diets, including maintaining records, data entry, and possibly processing patient diet requests.Incoming Communication: Managing phone calls, emails, or other forms of communication that relate to diet orders, and responding to inquiries as needed.Education Requirements:
Minimum: High School Graduate or equivalent.Desirable: Vocational training in special diets (this could include training on dietary restrictions, nutrition for specific health conditions, or food safety).12 hours shifts 6 a.m. - 6p.m. working every other weekend is a must.Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
