Location: New Hartford, NY Category: Sitrin Health Care Center Posted On: Thu Jul 11 2024 Job Description: DEPARTMENT: Dietary POSITION: Dietary Aide Part Time, 4pm - 7pm PAY RATE: $15.00 SUPERVISOR: Director of Dining Services, Manager of Dining Services, and/or Cooks, Clinical Staff Responsible for setting up dining rooms for meals and cleaning same dining rooms following the meals Responsible for reading tray tickets and assembly of meal tray Responsible for serving an assigned section of an assigned dining room Responsible for dish room duties Responsible for storing assigned left over snacks, nourishments, desserts with proper labels/dates/times Follows sanitation codes, policies including proper glove use, hair restraint and uniform May prepare salads, desserts, mechanically altered foods with correct counts as assigned Delivers nourishment cart(s) to unit(s) and is responsible for cleaning and setting up cart(s) Performs duties according to the highest ethical and moral standards and in adherence with the facility's corporate compliance plan and all applicable governing laws. Adheres to the facility's confidentiality statement in accessing and safeguarding protected health information (PHI) of residents and employees, as necessary to perform job duties. Performs any other duties assigned by the Department supervisors. Job Requirements: Ability to read and write English Ability to follow instructions, both oral and written Ability to endure up to four (4) consecutive hours of standing/walking Ability to work alone and with minimal supervision as conditions dictates Ability to understand and use cleaning supplies and/or equipment as needed Ability to comprehend and utilize computerized meal production sheets with adaptive counts Lifts supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs Additional Information: Charles T.
