The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance in all food functions as instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures. \n

Major Responsibilities:\n\nPrepare or direct the preparation of all food served in the facility using standardized recipes.\nAdhere to menus and portion control standards, including those for special diets when preparing and serving meals.\nAssist with the purchase and inventory of food supply.\nPrepare and serve bedtime snacks, according to the established menu.\nPrepare and serve substitute foods to residents who refuse foods served.\n\n

Specific Requirements:\n\nMust be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.\nMust be knowledgeable of food procedures.\nMust be able to follow oral and written instructions. \nMust maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and perform regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.\n\n

Minimum Qualifications:\n\nMust possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED equivalent and have some experience with food preparation (preferred).\nYou must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.\n\n
