Responsibilities Dietary - Food Services Manager Turning Point is seeking an experienced leader to serve as our Dietary/Food Services Manager. In conjunction with the Dietitian/Dietary Director, the Dietary Manager will plan, direct and coordinate the activities of Dietary Department whereby nutritional care and food services are provided for patients and staff. It will be the responsibility of the Dietary Manager to: Monitor quality improvement activities. Manage dietary operations and personnel in accordance with hospital and departmental goals and objectives. Provide continuing education. Order food supplies ensuring adequate inventory. Prepare schedules, counsel staff and complete performance appraisals. Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Experience ordering supplies, maintaining inventory levels, and budgetary compliance required. Experience with healthcare food service, commercial kitchen equipment, operation and line cooking preferred.
