**Unit Description** **Grow your career with a team that shares your desire to make a difference!** Sodexo is seeking a **part time Dietetic Technician** for Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital level I Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV NICU located in St. Louis, Missouri. Position will work part time ~ 24 hours per week. SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital has been recognized as a 2023-2024 Best Children’s Hospital by U.S. News & World Report. **The successful candidate will:** + perform nutrition screening of patients and assess nutrition risk levels per established criteria; + provide appropriate nutrition education based upon patient/family learning needs and abilities; + plan menus and nourishments with patients to meet individual nutrition care needs in accordance with diet order, patient preferences, and allergies/intolerances; + participate in performance improvement initiatives with the goal of increasing patient satisfaction; and + participate in departmental activities, meetings, committees and other nutrition related tasks. **Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:** + Associate in Applied Science Degree in Dietetic Technology OR Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics; + strong knowledge base of diet and related medical nutrition therapies; + sound nutrition education and counseling skills; + interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse population and collaborate in a team environment; and + good time management skills and be a self-starter.
