Dietician Consultant The Dietician will serve as a consultant to the Nutritional Services department at George C. Grape Community Hospital. Core Responsibilities include: - Review and approve current menus and recipes - Assist the Manager or Nutritional Services in analyzing and planning menu cycles -Plan and approve special modified diets -Advise on procedures for carrying out physician's special diet orders -Review patient file to ensure it is maintained in a current and complete manner -Review each patient's specific diet order and ensure that it is appropriate for diagnosis and nutritional needs -Complete nutritional assessments and screenings, and document any pertinent nutritional information in the patient chart. -Facilitate in-service training programs with nutritional services employees as required and complete dietary reports Requirements: - A minimum of two on-site visits per month - Availability to receive and return phone calls during reasonable hours of operation Additional Information Position Type : Pool/PRN/Per Diem Shift : Other Contact Information Kristen Easley - Human Resource Manager Human Resources 2959 US HWY 275 Hamburg, Ia 51640 Email: keasley@grapehospital.com Phone: 7123821515 Ext. 8703 Fax: 712-382-1792
