Qualifications: Required: + Some weekends and holiday coverage required + High School diploma or equivalent Required + Bachelor s Degree in Nutrition or equivalent Required Preferred: + 1 year with eating disorder preferred + Master s Degree in Nutrition or equivalent Preferred but not required + CEDRD certified eating disorder registered dietitian preferred + Minimum of 1 year Preferred but open to new grads Certifications and Licenses Required: + Registered Dietitian with CDR- Required Scheduling Requirements: + Day Shift + Per Diem Schedule (some weekends and holidays) Essential Functions: + In this per diem, as needed, position you will participate as part of the multidisciplinary care team by providing evidence-based nutrition care and medical nutrition therapy to inpatients and/or outpatients using an all foods fit, weight inclusive Health at Every Size approach + Provide individual nutrition therapy/education, group counseling/education and participate in the development of multidisciplinary treatment plans + Participate with Nutrition Coordinator to provide nutrition-related and/or meal monitoring training to non-RD staff + Assists with additional projects as assigned including those related to program development/improvement, policies, procedures, and quality assurance monitoring Skills: + Communicates effectively with others + Ability to engage resistant patients + Excellent customer service skills + Flexible with change Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
