Responsibilities

This positionfocuses both on inpatient and outpatient care within a community setting. 

Applies medical nutrition therapy standards of care throughout the continuum of care, inpatient and outpatient in the community care setting. Works collaboratively with colleagues throughout the Mayo enterprise to develop MNT practice guidelines and/or protocols, curriculum and nutrition education materials. Works collaboratively with providers and other allied health care staff to develop and deliver programs and services that promote both therapeutic and wellness initiatives. Stays current with best practice to ensure effective interventions.



Qualifications

Minimum of one year experience with Clinical Dietetics preferred. Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field. 

Internship or education as required for registration eligibility with the Commission on Dietetics Registration. Must be able to travel. State of Minnesota Board of Dietetics Nutrition Practice Licensure required within 3 months of hire. Registered status with Commission on Dietetic Registration credential within 3 months of hire.
