Dietitian

Under general supervision assesses, treats, and provides medical nutrition therapy to patients of all ages (infant, preschool, school age, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) with complex nutrition needs.  Documents findings and recommendations; plans and implements nutrition intervention; collaborates with patient care team; educates patient/family and reassesses patient for changes in nutritional needs.  Provides direction, training, and supervision to assigned Nutrition Assistants.

Required Qualifications:

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years Clinical Dietetic experience in an acute care hospital with experience in nutrition support or pediatric specialties.
