Responsibilities
In coordination with the Diabetes Nurse Educator and the Director counsels and educates patients and families on diabetic diets. Teaches group classes and maintains necessary data and collection and appropriate medical documentation.
Qualifications
Experience:
One year experience in outpatient or clinic setting as a clinical dietitian preferred.Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Foods & NutritionDietetics. Registered DietitianDiabetesEducator Certification.Licensure:
Current Registration with American Dietetic Association Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).
