Dietitian - Nutrition Services WA SHMC Spokane Main Tower L3
Shift Details: Part-time, Day shift, 32 hours a week
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the Registered Dietitian (RD)/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist(RDN) in collaboration with other health care team members, plans and provides medical nutrition therapy to patients. This includes nutritional assessment, development of therapeutic plan, nutrition education and monitoring of patients response to medical nutrition therapy. The RD must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned units.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or nutrition-related field or Master's Degree in Nutrition or nutrition-related field Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification or Washington Nutritionist Certification National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Clinical Dietetics specifically with age group to be served (neonate, infant, toddler, preschool, school-age child, adolescent, early adult, middle adult, older adult) Work experience in acute care and/or outpatient settings Advanced Certification by American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, American Association of Diabetics Educators, or Academy of Nutrition and DieteticsWhy Join Providence?
