Novant Health is looking for a dedicated Dietitian to provide impactful nutritional education and assessments. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, working alongside healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our patients. As a Dietitian, you will consult with and educate patients in both individual and group settings, offering guidance on nutrition management and risk factor reduction. Your communication with patients will span various channels, including phone, in-person consultations, and video conferencing. You’ll provide expert coaching to help patients make meaningful behaviour changes aimed at improving their health, reducing risks, and enhancing their quality of life. Through medical nutrition therapy, you will develop tailored care plans, implement nutrition strategies, and evaluate outcomes—all while closely collaborating with other healthcare teams to optimise patient care. This role also involves managing follow-up care, scheduling, and documenting patient progress, ensuring seamless coordination with the interdisciplinary team. Bachelors in dietetics, nutrition, foods and nutrition. Graduate Degree, preferred. + **Experience:** Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Clinical Dietitian, preferred. + **Licensure/Certification:** Registered Dietitian status by the commission on Dietetic Registration, required. Licensed Dietitian in appropriate state, required. + **Additional Skills (required):** Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Knowledge, ability and skills to support patient education and patient engagement in self-care management to accommodate cultural diversity, age specific or behavior needs among the patients being served. + **Additional Skills (preferred):** Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
