As a Senior Product Associate in Digital and Design team of Commercial Investment Banking, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success. Job responsibilities Collaborate with the Product Manager and stakeholders to identify new product opportunities through user research and discovery, aligning with business, customer, and market needs. Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, considering upstream and downstream implications of new product features. Gather and document clear, concise, and comprehensive business requirements, facilitating meetings and workshops to gather information and validate these requirements. Break down requirements into actionable stories and groom them with the technology team, working closely with technology, design, UAT, and data teams throughout the development lifecycle. Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of new systems and processes, analyzing, tracking, and evaluating product metrics. Provide training and support to end-users for successful adoption of new systems and processes, acting as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and issues. Collaborate with control, compliance, and legal partners to ensure product solutions meet compliance standards, while staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and technology. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Possesses proficient knowledge of the product development lifecycle and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field. Brings 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst/Product Associate or in a similar role within the BFSI industry, with expertise in agile product development environments. Demonstrates a good understanding of digital channels, technology stacks, and APIs, along with sound knowledge of human-centric design principles and hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, LUCID, and PowerPoint. Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Master’s degree in Business Administration is an advantage. Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) and Agile (e.g. PSPO) are preferred.
