Raytheon’s Apertures and RF Department is seeking a Section Leader to support the Digital Apertures team in McKinney, Texas. The department is responsible for full-scope antenna product solutions, spanning architecture trades, design, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of antenna systems and associated integrated system verification solutions.
The position will lead a team of 15-20 direct reports within the Apertures and RF department in the design, analysis, test, and integration of antenna sub-systems and apertures for a variety of applications. Engineers on this team perform a variety of different roles ranging from Principal Investigator (PI), Chief Engineer (CE), and Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) to individual contributors producing design, analysis, and test for a diverse array of products. The Section Manager will mentor and validate the work products of his / her team, while engaging in staff training and career development, assignment of employee job duties, and conducting performance reviews. The Section Manager will employ excellent written and oral communication skills, while directly supporting the Apertures and RF Department Manager in the execution of engineering goals. The Section Manager is also responsible for assisting in the assembly of department proposals with supporting Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and work product deliveries. The Section Manager will participate in program and peer reviews. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation and experience in both RF, digital design and signal processing for antenna applications. This leader will also contribute directly to efforts as a task lead or individual contributor. This position is an onsite role in McKinney, Texas

Typically requires a bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior Engineering experience OR an Advanced degree and 8 years of relevant experienceRequired relevant experience to include a combination of the following:Minimum 5 years direct engineering leadershipExperience in electrical engineering of antenna sub-systems, antennas, RF measurements, and integration and testExperience with phased arrays digitized at the element or subarray level (Digital Phased Arrays) and the associated signal processing of digitized channelsExperience assisting with proposal efforts, engineering reviews, and program and customer reviewsActive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizen are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
