In this role y ou will support digital transformation, identifying and defining business opportunities for manufacturing supply chain. This role will support with use cases for digital and automation solutions by applying broad technical knowledge and collaborating with internal experts and partners. You can contextualize your knowledge in industrial control systems and manufacturing automation technologies and transform it into digital solutions, that will drive efficiency, reliability, and sustainability using Industry 4.0 principles as an enabler.
**How you will contribute**
Working with cross-functional partners regionally and globally, you will support deployment of the local digitalization agenda and initiatives. In this role, you will support engineering teams in a single or multiple location(s) on Digitalization, Automation, Vision Systems, Process Control and Capability Training. You will work closely with plant teams in troubleshooting, and deployment of pilot solutions. You will have the opportunity to present best practice implementations based on your projects in the company to the engineering community globally.

**More about this role**
**What you need to know about this position:**
+ Located near one of our AMEA plants or at our HQ (Singapore). You are regionally based but driving a global agenda.
+ Lead Industry 4.0 digitalisation projects in a selected area of your expertise from feasibility, implementation to adoption
+ Work with plants to guide them on their digital journey and roadmap strategy.
+ You will be responsible for project supervision and vendor co-ordination for your project(s).
+ Develop and prepare project proposals to identify and recommend engineering solutions.
+ Engage with regional and global leaders and managers on Industry 4.0 strategy and initiatives
+ Lead Industry 4.0 capability strategy, co-ordinate and create a roadmap for capability, deliver documentation and training alongside regional and global experts.
**What extra ingredients you will bring:**
+ Strong project management methodology knowledge
+ Automation (PLC) knowledge and basic programming knowledge is a plus.
+ Skills in python, powerBI, industrial control systems (Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff) is a plus.
+ Passion for Engineering, Industry 4.0 and digitalisation for manufacturing.
+ MS Office knowledge (MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, collaboration tools e.g. SharePoint)
+ Fluent in English (other languages in addition are valued)
+ Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills
