The Position

The position

We are seeking a Digital Business Development Manager to drive digital health business in Japan. You will facilitate creation of new business by way of leveraging our established businesses in clinical diagnostics, partnering with external companies as well as adoption and scaling of impactful Roche digital health solutions for customers.

・You will develop and implement actionable and targeted strategies to make Roche top of mind as a preferred partner for digital health solutions. You proactively seek opportunities to collaborate and partner with key stakeholders and external companies to add value to the healthcare ecosystem.

・You will define value propositions, and formulate strategies for Roche digital innovation products. You will be the catalyst for driving awareness and adoption of Roche digital platforms and solutions. 

・You stay abreast on industry practices and trends and contribute to innovative ideas on digital services, and continuously improve current plans and processes.

 

Who you are

・You are someone who influences your own development, pursues your interests across functions and geographies, and understands that a job title is not the final definition of who you are, but a starting point.

・You should ideally possess a Bachelor Degree with at least 8 years of proven work experience and measurable success preferably in a healthcare related role.  Candidates with experience in digital health services and solutions and/or experience in an organization or institutions that have shifted to digital offering would be highly preferred.

・You have an excellent command of written and spoken English. You understand the importance of customer centricity and possess strong business acumen. You are highly effective in cross-functional collaboration and excel in a complex matrix setting. You have the ability to influence partners at multiple levels and have agile project management skills.

・You are curious about and keep up with innovative and digital trends. You understand what it means to achieve results through others and bring people along in the journey.
